Michael Fusco Design was founded by Michael Fusco in 2005, after
working in publishing and design for nearly ten years. Since then,
Michael has designed identites, book jackets, record covers and
posters out of his offices in Brooklyn, New York, Madison, Wisconsin,
and wherever else his trusty laptop happens to be. Michael's work has been
featured in Print's Regional Design Annual, Advanced Photoshop
Magazine, as well as on several excellent blogs, including Grain Edit,
Vroman's Bookstore, FWIS, and A Cup of Jo.
On September 25th, 2008, Michael Fusco married Emma Straub, his
longtime collaborator. Both Michael and Emma enjoy letter-pressed
stationary, going on tour, and their two cats, Killer and Gravy. Their
new shop, M + E, will finally answer the question: but how do I get
something that beautiful in my house?
MFD's list of clients includes Sony/ Columbia Records, Paramount Pictures, Almost Gold
Recordings, Startime Intl., Workman Publishing, Avalon Publishing
Group, Pegasus Books, The Magnetic Fields, Black Kids, Doubleday/
Random House, and The Nation Institute, among many others. He
currently has 18 pairs of sneakers in rotation.
Emma has an MFA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and an
impressive collection of feathers to wear in her hair. They both look
forward to hearing from you.
